And of course, there are a bunch of cool spots to visit in this part of Austin, like amazing east Austin restaurants you need to try, and fantastic boutique hotels. But if you’re just wandering around and hoping to find some cute spots to grab a drink and take a picture, here are the 15 most instagrammable spots in East Austin.

1. Til Death Do Us Part Mural

The location has actually changed a bit over the years, but this famous Austin mural is now at the corner of E 7th and Waller. It’s a popular spot for engagement shots (ha ha…) or any random couples who are just wandering through the streets of east Austin.

Another incredibly popular mural in Austin, “You’re My Butter Half” is a bright blue piece of street art that’s painted on the side of a building on East MLK. It’s pretty easy to find parking nearby so you can walk up to the mural and get a photo. This is one of the most-photographed murals in all of Austin, so you’ll definitely want to get a shot for Instagram!

It’s located near Austin Daily Press (great sandwiches!), JuiceLand (one of the most popular juice bars in Austin), and Bennu Coffee.
