Buda just keeps getting better and better! This little town that’s just south of Austin has a small geographic area on the map but a BIG impact on the south Austin community. In fact, lots of south Austinites will drive down to Buda just to visit some of the best restaurants in Buda. But what if you’re looking for a cute little spot to grab a morning cup of coffee? They’ve got that, too! Here are the best local coffee shops in Buda, TX
The Best Coffee Shops in Buda, TX
1. Progress Coffee + Beer
This all-day coffee, beer, and cocktail bar is one of the best places to get a cappuccino, drip coffee, or specialty latte in Buda. They have a really big space, so there’s always room for you to bring your laptop and get a morning work sesh done while you enjoy a fresh hot beverage.
Progress Coffee is also home to Pueblo Viejo food truck, which serves some of Austin’s favorite breakfast tacos.
And as an added bonus, there's a kids play area in the outdoor beer garden. Grab your coffee and one of those delicious pastries from Easy Tiger, let the kids run around and play, and enjoy this sprawling space that's east of IH-35.
(Psst: Progress Coffee also has a location in east Austin!)

If you want something sweet to go with your coffee, step over to the Teal House counter and order a scratch-made cinnamon roll to enjoy while you’re working on your laptop. These are some of the best cinnamon rolls in Austin, and they’ve now expanded to a second location in Buda!
