The sushi restaurants in Austin can be an unexpected delight while exploring the Austin dining scene. In a very land-locked city with a relatively small population (compared to Houston and Dallas), Austin has an impressive number of exceptional sushi restaurants from top chefs who work daily to study and perfect the art of Japanese sushi.

Everyone knows the name “Uchi” in Austin (it’s the most famous Austin sushi restaurant), and while many people absolutely adore Uchi and recommend it as a top sushi restaurant in Austin, there are a lot of other great ones worth exploring!
