Where To Eat Near The Moody Center In Austin
Heading to a game or show at the Moody Center and wondering where to eat beforehand? The goal of this guide is to connect you to local Austin restaurants nearby the University of Texas campus! (Map included below.)
Since this arena is on UT’s campus, most of the nearby places to eat and drink will be on the east side of I35. But there are a few on the northern end of downtown that are walking distance (or a quick ride share) to the Moody Center.
Of course, if you decide to eat at the game or concert, there are some stadium options in the main and upper concourses of the Moody Center.
About The Moody Center
The new Moody Center is a $375 million multi-use arena at the University of Texas at Austin.
It opened in Spring 2022. In the first few weeks, hundreds of thousands of concert-goers showed up to see headliners like John Mayer, Bon Jovi, and George Strait.
It can host 15,000+ people for concerts and 10,000 basketball fans.
The arena is also home to the University of Texas Longhorn women's and men's basketball teams, so this space will be packed year-round. It’s a beautiful venue!
