Driftwood Estate Winery

Duchman Family Winery
Drs. Lisa and Stan Duchman wanted to bring world-class winemaking to Central Texas and the Texas Hill Country, so they founded The Duchman Family Winery in 2004. It’s a beautiful winery with a sprawling outdoor area, lots of picnic tables where you can enjoy bottles on site, and delicious housemade pizzas on the food menu.
Duchman Family Winery works with viticultural consultant Bobby Cox and growers in the Texas High Planes AVA to produce grapes that allow their winemakers to create unique wines like Vermentino, Sangiovese, and Dolcetto. Fall Creek Vineyards
Located in Driftwood, TX, Fall Creek Vineyards was the very first Texas Hill Country winery! They’ve been making wine since 1975. They use grapes from several vineyards around the state, including grapes are grown at the Salt Lick Vineyard (located directly across the street from Fall Creek Vineyards.)
The winery and tasting room itself is pretty special: Fall Creek Vineyards is also home to the Fall Creek Inn, a quaint bed and breakfast located onsite in the historic mansion that also holds the tasting room. Guests can book individual rooms to stay overnight and enjoy a one-of-a-kind exclusive getaway.

Salt Lick Cellars
If you want to pair some famous Texas BBQ with a wine tasting, this is it! Salt Lick Cellars is located next to Salt Lick BBQ, so it’s perfect to be able to go straight from the vineyard to the BBQ joint.
