The Best Bars and Breweries Near Q2 Stadium
Q2 Stadium is the gorgeous home of Austin’s major professional league soccer team, Austin FC. It’s pretty far north in Austin (located in the North Burnet section of North Austin), and it’s one of the newest sports facilities in the country, consisting of 20,500 seats. During those fun soccer game days, this stadium is crowded with verde jerseys, rowdy fans, and lots and lots of great food and drinks. Bars and Breweries Near Q2 Stadium
1. Turnstile Coffee Beer Cocktails and Burgers
Turnstile is one of the best places to get a beer VERY close to Q2 stadium! I love stopping by before a game, getting a cold beer and a burger, and then just walking over to the stadium.
It gets pretty packed on game day, so show up early. They have a pretty good system in place for dealing with the line, but it's always crowded.

2. Celis Brewing
Celis Brewing is an absolute blast on Austin FC game day! This is a very fun brewery near Q2 Stadium because in addition to all the beer they have on tap, they also have some real food trucks (looking at you, Con Todo...one of the best taco trucks in the entire city of Austin.)
If you want the absolute best game day vibe, Celis has it. Their turf-covered backyard area is full of people in green, pre-gaming with pints of beer and pizza or tacos from the food trucks. Celis even has a big stage out there and they'll sometimes have live music before the Austin FC game starts.

3. Hopsquad Brewery Co.
Hopsquad is probably the busiest brewery near Q2 Stadium. I love this beer and I love the industrial space...but be prepared for a line! (This is in part because Hopsquad is incredibly close to Q2. You can easily walk to the stadium from this brewery.)

4. Fairweather Cider Co
Not a beer drinker? Fairweather Cider offers delicious craft cider in their gorgeous taproom near Q2 Stadium. It’s the perfect spot to go before or after the game. They mostly make crip and bright, extremely dry ciders with a strong emphasis on creativity. The taproom is pretty small, but it’s a fun, festive place to pregame for a soccer match. Spicy Boys food truck is parked outside, which is one of the best food trucks in Austin serving pan-Asian fried chicken sandwiches, roti, and curry.

5. Austin Beerworks
Austin Beerworks is one of the most well-known and award-winningest breweries in North Austin. You've probably seen some of their core beers at restaurants, bars, and grocery stores around town...but it's even more delicious to drink it at the source where it's made!
Even though you can’t walk to Q2 stadium from Austin Beerworks, it’s still a great place to pregame for an Austin FC game. It’s a 5,000-square-foot sleek, contemporary taproom with a great big dog- and family-friendly patio.

6. Bouldin Acres
Bouldin Acres has a full bar, family-friendly patio, yard games, and pickle ball courts. It's a fun spot! If you're heading to an Austin FC game with kids and need somewhere to eat beforehand, this is probably your best spot.
It's a bar (plenty of beer/wine/cocktails) but it's also a full restaurant with burgers, sandwiches, and lots of kid-friendly eats.
Or...you can just show up to get some drinks. 🙂

7. Slab BBQ And Beer
Slab BBQ And Beer offers classic Texas bbq, loaded sandwiches, and craft beer. It’s pretty close to Q2 Stadium, so if you're hoping to enjoy some smoked meats and craft beers before or after the game, this is the bar and restaurant for you.
